BATHROOMS!!

We finally have tile! This means our bathrooms are about 70% complete. All we need now are the vanities, plumbing, and electricity.

Our contractor has promised us that he will be finished with all of his projects by June 13th. If anyone wants to come during the month of June to help us finish our personal projects, we would LOVE the help! We are currently planning to move in by July 1st (granted we can finish our projects). The Pamlico is beautiful this time of year, so even if you just want to come for a visit, our door is open to you!

Here are a few new pictures:

New roof up and painting is nearly finished.  The lawn is begging for a bit more street appeal, but will have to wait for the next planting season...

 Mud Room

Laundry room.  We chose the tile because it matched the existing tile in the mud room and the kitchen.

Downstairs bathroom! Herringbone marble!!!

We have been repairing the damaged plaster walls with a process called "skim coating."  This consist of spreading plaster mud over the walls, then sanding smooth when dry.  Super easy, but very time consuming.

Dan's new closet that has been widened and the ceiling raised.  This wall contained a bricked-in fireplace.  We decided for space, and to save money, we would just drywall over it.  Just needs trim and french doors.

SB's much larger closet in the bathroom

Upstairs bathroom! Needs more dry wall work, a vanity, etc.
